These were the most-used words on LinkedIn profiles in 2013

The 2013 list of the most-used words on the social media site LinkedIn is not necessarily a prompt to go an update your profiles, says Nicole Williams, the site’s career expert. Originality goes a long way and avoiding some of the most-used words could be a way to help you stand out, she adds.  The words are:

1. Responsible
2. Strategic
3. Creative
4. Effective
5. Patient
6. Expert
7. Organizational
8. Driven
9. Innovative
10. Analytical
