Will Obamacare save taxpayer money? That’s classified

An additional laudable goal of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, besides providing health care for all, is improving the way in which that care is delivered.  Accountable care organizations —payment systems in which doctors and hospitals coordinate in order to save money — did not perform especially well during their trial run. However, new findings have come to light that the Centers of Medicare and Medicaid Services could be hiding data on other nascent programs. How are we to know what works?
