Why productive people stick to their strike zone

It shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that we make the fastest and most accurate decisions when in our respective areas of expertise. But all too often, we get excited and start making snap decisions outside our comfort zone. The key is not to try and become experts in these outlying areas, but to wait patiently for the spaces of our expertise to come to us and then swing away.
