Psychopaths have a negative association with murderers, rapists and other violent criminals, but they also have personality characteristics that many in the business community would, well… kill for. Exceptional persuasiveness, charismatic charm and sharp focus under intense pressure come naturally to psychopaths, says research psychologist Kevin Dutton. Through his research, Dutton has found these qualities prevalent in successful CEOs, surgeons, lawyers, and even U.S. presidents.
