Information wants to be shared

There are some things to consider when sharing information. Information wants to be shared, but it’s not simply a matter of making it available for free. A recommendation illustrates that something is worthy of your time. However, cost does cause friction with sharing. A book’s publication is itself a recommendation from the book publisher, but a price must first be paid before the book can be read, which then yields another recommendation from the reader. Experiments will emerge to find the best methods for consumers to share information without friction.
