Through the years, baby boomers have had it pretty good. They came of age during an economic expansion that allowed a family to get by on a single income with less education. The Congressional Budget Office estimates a dual-income couple retiring in 2011, will accrue $200,000 more in Medicare and Social Security benefits than they paid in. If things were so great for them, why are the following generations struggling. Can boomers be blamed for putting in place the conditions that led to the economic crisis?
