New Hire Roundup: Wyderko Named President, CEO of Mutual Fund Directors Forum

This week in new hires, Susan Ferris Wyderko was named president and CEO of The Mutual Fund Directors Forum and Lisa Resnick became senior vice president of retail distribution at Genworth Financial.

Also, George Coronado was welcomed to JHS Capital Advisors.

Susan Ferris Wyderko Named President and CEO of Mutual Fund Directors Forum

Susan Ferris Wyderko was elected president, CEO and director of the Mutual Fund Directors Forum, it was announced Monday. The change is effective December 31. Allan Mostoff, founding president, will retire as of that date.

Wyderko joined as the forum’s first executive director in 2006, having previously served as the director of the SEC’s office of investor education and assistance. Wyderko also held a number of other leadership positions at the SEC during her more than 20 years there, including acting director of the division of investment management.

Genworth Names Lisa Resnick Senior Vice President, Retail Distribution

Genworth Financial, Inc. (GNW) recently announced that it has named Lisa Resnick as senior vice president, retail distribution. She will be part of Genworth’s distribution and marketing sales leadership team and will lead the company’s retail distribution channel, a group of insurance specialists dedicated to helping consumers meet their needs for long-term care.

Resnick has held a variety of product, sales and marketing leadership roles during her 20-year career in financial services. She began her career with Prudential Financial Corp., where she spent 12 years in a variety of roles including top producing agent, award-winning sales manager, and agency head. She also spent six years at Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America, where she held several senior distribution, marketing and business leadership roles, including president of the company’s life and long-term care division. Most recently, she has been a senior vice president within career distribution at AVIVA.

JHS Capital Advisors Welcomes Coronado as New Advisor in Fixed Income

JHS Capital Advisors announced Monday that George Coronado has joined the firm as a vice president, financial advisor. Coronado has worked as a financial advisor specializing in fixed income for 19 years.

Prior to joining JHS, Coronado served as a vice president at RBC Wealth Management, and worked for J.B. Hanauer & Co. earlier in his career.
