Dexter Umekubo will be the chairman-elect of the National Association of Independent Life Brokerage Agencies (NAILBA) in 2011.
Umekubo is managing partner at Producer’s XL Inc., Salina, Kan., according to NAILBA, Fairfax, Va. He holds the Chartered Life Under and Chartered Financial Consultant professional designations.
Christi Daughenbaugh, NAILBA’s new chairman, is chief operating officer of the Borden Hamman Agency Inc., Dallas.
Other incoming NAILBA leaders include Raymond Phillips Jr., treasurer; Barbara Crowley, secretary; and Mark Rosen, immediate past chairman.
