Five great reasons to do seminars

Your article was successfully shared with the contacts you provided.

1. Position yourself as different, better, smarter
Seminars make you stand out and help your prospects and clients answer “Why should I work with you?” and “What makes you special?” As a medium of communication, seminars afford you the best opportunity to get your message across.

2. Educate your people
Seminars give you a chance to teach people important strategies that can help them make better decisions with their money. You can also help them ward off scams and fads that do serious damage to their long-term success. A seminar allows you to provide the education they need AND sell yourself at the same time.

3. Systematize referrals
A strong seminar program is a cornerstone of the “Event Referral.” All your client needs to do is bring a guest. If you do a great seminar, the client will naturally want to take credit for “discovering” you. The referral had a chance to see you in top performance mode and is eager to start their own relationship.

4. Enhance or regain credibility with the public
A seminar gives you a chance to tell your story and build your own personal trust and credibility. People know they need professional financial advice but they are jaded and confused about whom to trust. YOU are the one with the experience, training and full immersion in the processes of planning and investing to help your clients meet their goals.

5. Create a social environment and have lots of fun!
Fun and success are directly correlated. A great way to tap into the positive energy that is created in a friendly, social, environment is through a seminar. The people who attend are predisposed to having a good time, which is a huge advantage over prospecting.
