Nearly 80 percent of women feel that the older they get, the more resilient they become, according to a recent survey from VibrantNation.com.

“Boomer women are in fact growing more resilient during hard times and their coping strategies and belief systems are reaching new levels of effectiveness in the face of challenge and change,” said Stephen Reily, Vibrant Nation founder and CEO.

While 68 percentreport that they are less optimistic about their futures than they used to be, of those, more than half have accepted it.

The most disturbing trend from the study? Over two-thirds of women have lost trust in their financial advisors and institutions since the recession – or they never trusted them in the first place.
