Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company has donated $105,000 to cancer research, prevention and treatment organizations in connection with an effort to reach out to women.
MassMutual, Springfield, Mass., gives to groups that fight cancer when its agents conduct Pearls of Wisdom financial education seminars. The seminars are designed to appeal especially strongly to women.
In 2008, the 45 agencies that participated in the campaign organized about 100 Pearls of Wisdom seminars, MassMutual says.
