The top executive at the Interstate Insurance Product Regulation Commission is leaving her post, according to IIPRC officers.

The IIPRC, Washington, runs a central filing point for life insurance policies, annuities and other products.

Arricale has been working for the IIPRC since December 2006.

“The members of the IIPRC thank Ms. Arricale for her service,” according to the IIPRC. “The commission is in the process of forming a search committee to seek an immediate replacement.”

The 33 member states are strongly committed to continuing the IIPRC’s efforts to provide a national platform for insurance product approval, the IIPRC says.

Arricale says in a statement that she received “terrific interstate cooperation” when the IIPRC started its operations.

“I thank the IIPRC for the opportunity to serve as the first executive director,” Arricale says in the statement. “It has been an honor to work on behalf of the member states.”

At press time, Arricale was declining to comment further on her future plans or the reason for her departure from the IIPRC.
