Candace Bahr and Ginita Wall have some suggestions for working with female clients in their book, “It’s More Than Money – It’s Your Life!” The authors say women tend to be more focused on long-term goals when making investments, and spend more time researching investments before making a decision. They point to a survey by the Women’s Financial Network and the Women’s Economic Status Report that says women spend 40 percent more time researching an investment than men.
