A telephone medical consultation company will be marketing its services through a benefit plan administration system.
TelaDoc Inc., Dallas, has agreed to market its services through the QicLink claims administration system from TriZetto Group Inc., Newport Beach, Calif.
Independent benefit plan administrators use the system to help client employers’ employees pay claims.
The employees now can use the system to arrange for telephone appointments with physicians, TriZetto says.
In some cases, benefits administrators using the QicLink system may be able to send the patient information in their own forms directly to the physicians, TriZetto says.
