The National Association of Insurance Commissioners has received 3.6 million Web visits in 2007, up from about 1 million in 2006.
Traffic at the site, at Document Link, has increased from 480,000 visits in 2005, according to the NAIC, Kansas City, Mo.
Traffic at the NAIC's Insure U consumer education Web site increased to 204,173 visits.
The NAIC launched the Insure U site in 2006.
In 2007, the NAIC added a Spanish-language version of the Insure U site and content aimed at small business owners.
In 2008, the NAIC will be offering a Spanish-language version of the small business site and redesigning the Web site of the System for Electronic Rate and Form Filing, officials say.
