Laser App Software L.L.C. has added an e-signature feature to its library of financial services forms.

Laser App, Upland, Calif., says users of its forms now can collect encrypted signatures using an electronic signature capture machine sold by Interlink Electronics Inc., Camarillo, Calif.

In other technology news:

- Old Mutual Financial Network, Atlanta, a unit of Old Mutual P.L.C., has agreed to use the Insurance Data Exchange system from Skywire Software L.L.C., Frisco, Texas, to automate the exchange of policy data with the company’s brokerage general agencies and independent marketing organizations.

- Health Benefits Direct Corp., Radnor, Pa. has introduced the Insurint life and health insurance quote engine.

Health Benefits Direct designed the quote engine for use by contact center sales representatives rather than by consumers.

Sales reps can get customized quotes for consumers by entering answers to health questions into the Web-based system, Health Benefits Direct says.
