The National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) launched its second annual consumer-oriented public service campaign to educate Americans about the need for financial professionals to hold themselves to a fiduciary standard. Trisha Brambley, president and founder of Resources for Retirement, was appointed to represent investment counseling on the 2007 Advisory Council on Employee Welfare and Pension Benefit Plans, also known as the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) Advisory Council.
