Consulting Firm Wins Contract Renewal

The Public Employee Retirement System of Idaho has agreed to use Affiliated Computer Services Inc. to help run its 401(k) retirement plans for at least 3 more years.

The PERSI plan serves 100,000 Idaho public employees and retires, and the contract, which includes a 2-year renewal option, has a value of about $4.7 million, according to Affiliated Computer Services, Dallas.

Affiliated Computer Services has been handling participant recordkeeping, communications, and compliance services for PERSI 401(k) plan members since 2001.

Under the new contract, Affiliated Computer Services will provide more 401(k) plan promotion consulting services, the company says.

The company also will manage a participant Web site for PERSI, the company says.
