Alliance HealthCard Inc. has completed a previously announced acquisition of Benefit Marketing Solutions L.L.C.
Alliance, Atlanta, says it is a licensed discount medical provider organization that sells discounts on pharmacy, medical, dental, hospital and vision products and services to more than 900,000 U.S. individuals and families.
Benefit Marketing, Louisville, Ky., sells similar discount services and has about 500,000 program members, Alliance says.
Existing management for both companies will stay with the combined company, and Danny Wright, chief executive of Benefit Marketing, will be the chief executive of the combined companies.
