HealthPlus of Michigan Inc. is setting up a new preferred provider organization plan.
HealthPlus, Flint, Mich., a company better known in Michigan for running a health maintenance organization, says the new plan will offer emergency coverage for plan members who are traveling, condition management programs for members with diabetes or heart disease, and access to discounts on fitness club fees and weight-loss programs.
HealthPlus provides or administers health coverage for a total of 200,000 Michigan residents.
