George Vlaisavljevich, 63, died Dec. 23.
Vlaisavljevich had been chief marketing officer at Fidelity Life Association, Oak Brook, Ill., since early 2005 and a member of the company’s board since 2001.
Fidelity Life had been nearly dormant until Vlaisavljevich took the chief marketing officer post and began taking steps to restore its operations, company executives report.
“George put in place a talented marketing staff who will continue the work he started,” Fidelity Life Chairman Richard Hemmings says in a statement. “His vision, enthusiasm and leadership will inspire his Fidelity Life colleagues for many years to come.”
