The MetLife Foundation has given $200,000 to the AARP Foundation.

The MetLife Foundation, an arm of MetLife Inc., New York, has awarded the grant to support the Staying Sharp initiative, a program developed by the AARP Foundation and other groups to help older adults keep their brains healthy, according to the AARP Foundation, an affiliate of AARP, Washington.

The new grant will support Staying Sharp forums and other activities.
