MHN Expands Phone Group Counseling Options

The company came up with the concept of telephone-based group counseling sessions in 2001, after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center disrupted the New York service center’s usual counseling programs and forced the center to come up with a new way to deliver its services, according to MHN, Port Richmond, Calif., a unit of Health Net Inc., Thousand Oaks, Calif.
