A large insurer is rolling out a television advertising campaign aimed at men and women ages 35 to 50.

MetLife Inc., New York, says the 2 30-second commercials in the campaign, which is based on a golf theme, warn viewers that handling financial challenges is “pretty much up to you.”

The commercials also feature the MetLife Blimp.

The commercials will start running on NBC this weekend during the Ford Championship at Doral in Miami, and they are scheduled to run during 4 other major golf tournaments.

MetLife also is running print ads along with the TV commercials.
