The American College, Bryn Mawr, Pa., says its inauguration of National Financial Awareness Day is aimed at enhancing consumers’ financial security.

Under the program, offered as a free public service, graduates of the college will open their practices to local communities on Mar. 6 to offer opportunities to learn more about personal finance.

Participating alumni will spend the day answering questions, sponsoring seminars and discussing financial planning.
