Michigan Blue, Detroit, says Wells Fargo, San Francisco, also will help improve service for members of Michigan Blue health reimbursement arrangements.
Today, HRA members must provide paper receipts when filing HRA claims.
Michigan Blue will start sending daily HRA claim updates to Wells Fargo, and that should sharply reduce the need for members to submit paper receipts, Michigan Blue says.
Michigan Blue provides or administers health coverage for 4.7 million people.
