Insurer Organizes Wild Promotion

The Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom Adventure Tour will open its doors in Pontiac, Mich., in Sept. 2 and travel around the United States until 2007.[@@]

The show, staged on several semitrailer trucks, will give visitors a chance to experience the sights, sounds and scents of a tropical rainforest, the African savanna, and an ice-bound polar region, according to Mutual of Omaha Insurance Company, Omaha, Neb.

The tour, which will help promote Mutual of Omaha’s sponsorship of a new series of Wild Kingdom television episodes for the Animal Planet cable channel, will give at least one participant a chance to win an African safari, Mutual of Omaha says.
