Genworth Promotes 2 Retirement Unit Executives

Genworth Financial Inc., Richmond, Va., has promoted Rob Methven and Matthew Sharpe.[@@]

Methven, who has been head of Genworth’s Personal Advisor Network, will be president of the company’s retirement services group.

Sharpe, who helped developed the company’s retirement income operation, will be chief marketing officer of the Genworth retirement income and investments unit. Sharpe is succeeding Frank Gencarelli, who is taking a post as senior vice president for business development at Genworth’s protection unit.
