The Allstate Corp., Northbrook, Ill., has introduced a Web-based sales system that can help agents run voluntary benefits programs for small employers.[@@]

System features include a product illustration and application tool, online underwriting services, and automated payroll deduction and billing tools.

Employees who enroll through the system can buy more than one product with a single signature.

Allstate began testing the system in March in Florida, Georgia, Tennessee and Texas and now is offering the system to independent agents who are under contract to sell its products.
