NU Online News Service, May 4, 2004, 5:15 p.m. EDT – The Harford Financial Services Group, Inc., Hartford, has introduced Ability Assist, an employee assistance plan for group long-term disability plan members.[@@]
ComPsych Corp., Chicago, the company that runs the program, will provide telephone support for LTD plan members, claimants and claimants’ relatives.
ComPsych also will offer insured employees 5 face-to-face assessment sessions with counselors. Claimants and their families can get 5 face-to-face working sessions with legal and financial advisors.
The disability EAP is free for insured LTD plans with up to 1,000 covered lives, Hartford says.
