NU Online News Service, Feb. 13, 2004, 12:43 p.m. EST – Valley Oak Systems Inc., San Ramon, Calif., has introduced a bill review program for users of its Web-based health claims administration system.[@@]
The program, the iVOS Review Service and Software, is part of Valley Oak’s iVOS system.
Valley Oak has hired live human beings to review bills and scan bills into its computers, to reduce the need for client employers to shuffle paper and enter data manually.
Employers also can use Valley Oak’s software to analyze bills themselves. The software applies provider network discounts and fee limits to each line of a claim, so that users can see what the costs really are without using paper manuals.
