Guardian Posts New Investment Web Site

NU Online News Service, Nov. 24, 2003, 11:53 a.m. EST – An investment services unit of Guardian Life Insurance Company of America, New York, has set up a new Web site at http://www.guardianinvestor.com[@@]

The site, which replaces the old parkavenueportfolio.com and guardianinvestor.com sites, offers separate menus of services for producers and individual investors.

Individual investors can use the new site to manage Guardian accounts and learn more about Guardian’s Park Avenue Portfolio mutual funds and annuities.

Guardian is trying to persuade individual investors to return to the site regularly by including current market news from CBS MarketWatch along with personal finance reference materials and current performance statistics for Guardian products.

The producer section of the new site includes data, sales materials and hypothetical models aimed at financial advisors. The new site also continues to give producers access to information about client accounts.
