Ferris To Direct Hartford Life Retail Investment Sales

NU Online News Service, Nov. 14, 2003, 11:54 a.m. EST – Hartford Financial Services Group Inc., Hartford, says it has given Bruce Ferris responsibility for all sales and marketing activities involving Hartford Life’s retail investment products.

Ferris, a senior vice president, will direct management of all key relationships with firms that sell Hartford Life investment products, including wire houses, banks, regional broker-dealers and independent financial planning firms.

Ferris also handles strategy for Hartford Life’s individual life sales through banks and the company’s sales and marketing organization in Japan.

Ferris has been responsible for Hartford Life’s life insurance product sales through banks since 2000.

Ferris has a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Stonehill College.
