NU Online News Service, Nov. 10, 2003, 3:24 p.m. EST – The CheckFree Investment Services unit of CheckFree Corp., Atlanta, says it now has systems in place that can help money managers and brokerage firms share execution price data for separately managed accounts.
Up till now, money managers that work with many program sponsors have had to log in to each sponsor’s platform one by one to obtain and post execution prices, CheckFree Investment says.
Now, 39 of the top 50 program sponsors and 36 of the top 40 money managers can use the new CheckFree Investment technology to share execution price data through an automated system, CheckFree Investment says.
CheckFree Investment calls the new, automated capability the “Galaxy functionality.”
