NU Online News Service, Sept. 24, 2003, 4:20 p.m. EDT – Kansas City Life Insurance Company, Kansas City, Mo., has renamed its Administrative Services Only unit KCL Benefit Solutions.

The administrative services unit also has a new, Web-based customer service system.

The unit helps run self-funded employer health plans as well as dental plans, short term disability plans, vision plans and flexible spending accounts.

The new customer service system will give plan members and Kansas City Life’s employer customers the ability to manage benefits online, Kansas City Life says.

Kansas City Life says it also will be offering group-specific guarantees on payment accuracy, procedural accuracy and turnaround time.
