UnumProvident Aims Disability, Life Package At Micro Employers

NU Online News Service, Sept. 22, 2003, 3:43 p.m. EDT – UnumProvident Corp., Chattanooga, Tenn., has introduced a package of disability insurance and life insurance aimed at employers with fewer than 10 employees.

Products in the package include short term disability insurance, long term disability insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage.

Some products in the package include employee assistance services, flexible funding options and Web-based administration services, UnumProvident says.

The group life product includes free beneficiary counseling for survivors from The Ayco Company L.P., Albany, N.Y.
