NU Online News Service, Aug. 26, 2003, 5:16 p.m. EDT – Zurich Life, Schaumburg, Ill., says it will feed daily appointment status updates to general agents through the agents’ agency management systems.
Agents can sign up for Zurich Life appointments through the Web. Once Zurich Life approves an appointment, the insurer will notify the agent’s general agent through the general agent’s agency management system, Zurich Life says.
For now, Zurich Life is feeding appointment updates only to Zurich Life general agents, but it plans to make the feed available to all general agents, the company says.
Bank One Corp., Chicago, is in the process of acquiring Zurich Life from Zurich Financial Services Group Inc., Zurich.
