NU Online News Service, June 4, 2003, 4:53 p.m. EDT – The American College, Bryn Mawr, Pa., says its president, Samuel Weese, will be retiring June 30.

Weese, who holds both the Chartered Life Underwriter and the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter professional designations, began serving as president of the financial services college in 1988.

The college had millions of dollars in debt when Weese arrived, and it now has no debt and $48 million in assets. Weese recently led a fund-raising campaign that raised more than $32 million.
