NU Online News Service, April 25, 2003, 10:32 a.m. EDT – Jefferson Pilot Benefit Partners, Omaha, Neb., is making electronic-application and electronic-enrollment tools available to its group benefits producers.

The electronic-application tool can funnel the employer information submitted to Jefferson Pilot’s quotation system into a group insurance application.

The electronic-enrollment tool can feed employee information prepared in a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet format straight into Jefferson-Pilot’s “sold case” system, Jefferson Pilot says.

Producers can use the tools to enroll true group life, short-term disability, long-term disability and dental cases.

Jefferson Pilot Benefit Partners is a unit of Jefferson-Pilot Corp., Greensboro, N.C.
