NU Online News Service, March 27, 2003, 1:57 p.m. EST – Aetna Inc., Hartford, is introducing Aetna Managed Choice, a point-of-service plan for New York state employers with two to 50 employees.

Aetna will be selling the plan through independent insurance agents.

Plan members can get some reimbursement through the plan for any eligible care from any doctor or hospital, but members will receive a higher level of reimbursement if they go to doctors and hospitals in the Aetna network.

Aetna will offer employers some ability to adjust co-payment, coinsurance and deductible levels, the company says.
