Prudential Updates Annuity Family

NU Online News Service, Jan. 6, 4:34 p.m. – Prudential Financial Inc., Newark, N.J., has added the Strategic Partners Horizon Annuity, a modified guaranteed annuity, to its Prudential Investments’ Strategic Partners family of annuities.

The annuity offers rate guarantee periods of five, seven and 10 years.

The company has also revised its Strategic Partners Annuity One variable annuity, which offers buyers a choice of a dozen well-known fund managers. One new feature is an “Income Appreciator” benefit that can add up to 25% to contract earnings, Prudential says.
