SunGard Software Now Runs On Oracle System

NU Online News Service, Nov. 25, 4:13 p.m. – SunGard Data Systems Inc., Miami, says its SunGard COMPASS insurance policy administration system can now run together with the Oracle9i Application Server software.

Large and midsize companies use the Oracle system to manage accounting programs, database programs and other software applications running on more than one computer system.

The SunGard COMPASS system helps insurers administer life, disability and health insurance policies as well as pension plans and annuities.
