Alabama Seeks Proposals For Insurance Services

NU Online News Service, Nov. 20, 9:50 a.m. – The Alabama Department of Insurance has issued a request for proposal to establish a pool of qualified individuals or firms to provide the department with life, health, annuity and disability actuarial services.

The department is seeking candidates who can review rate and form filings, examine reserves and other liabilities as part of financial examinations, and provide other actuarial support services.

The department is also inviting bids from professional financial examiners to help it evaluate the financial health of insurers doing business in the state.
