LIMRA Announces New Meeting Schedule

NU Online News Service, Oct. 4, 2:45 p.m. – LIMRA International, Windsor, Conn., says it will go ahead Oct. 28-30 with its annual meeting in Toronto.

Forrmer Sen. George Mitchell will be the keynote speaker.

The nonprofit insurance market research association has also rescheduled the retirement, group marketing and sales, and disability and long-term care insurance programs that were postponed because they were set to take place the week of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

The group marketing and sales and disability/long-term care conferences will now take place Dec. 10-12 at the Hyatt Regency in Chicago.

The retirement conference will be combined with an annuities conference that was already scheduled to take place April 10-12 in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.
