GenAmerica Names Long-Time Employee Chief Information Officer

NU Online News Service, June 1, 1:05 p.m. – GenAmerica Financial Corp., St. Louis, has named Edward “Mont” Little senior vice president and chief information officer.

Little succeeds Randy Poppell, who resigned in May.

Little joined GenAmerica in 1982 as a programmer trainee. Since 1998, he has been executive director of the company?fs integrated insurance software division. Little has a bachelor?fs degree in mathematics from Drury College and a master?fs degree in computer science from Webster University.

GenAmerica has also promoted Kris Reppert to project management director. Reppert joined the company in 1988 and managed efforts to avoid Year 2000 problems.

GenAmerica is a subsidiary of MetLife Inc., New York.
