RGA Arm Unveils Reinsurance Treaty Management System

The firm's parent has completed an annuity reinsurancwhe deal.

Tindall Associates Inc. (TAI) — an arm of Reinsurance Group of America — has introduced a system that can help life insurers and life reinsurers manage the information associated with life reinsurance arrangements.

The reinsurance software company says the new TAI Treaty system uses SortSpoke, a tool that can squeeze useful data out of large, varied piles of documents.

TAI Treaty organizes the information related to reinsurance arrangements, or treaties, and puts the information in an easy-to-search data warehouse. The warehouse includes treaty amendments and related documents as well as the original treaties, TAI says.

In relates news, RGA, TAI’s Chesterfield, Missouri-based parent, says it has completed a large annuity reinsurance transaction with Modern Woodmen of America.

Modern Woodmen will continue to service and administer the annuity contracts.

An arm of Willis Towers Watson served as the broker for the transaction.
