Herbers & Co. Rolls Out Mobile Training App

The new subscription-based app will provide instructional materials to growth-focused advisors in the U.S. and abroad.

Herbers & Co., a consulting firm for independent advisory firms, has launched a mobile training application for advisors worldwide.

Herbers & Company Academy aims to “equip rising financial services leaders in various countries with the skills necessary to accelerate their firms’ growth through business strategy, management, and innovation training and tools,” according to Angie Herbers, founder and CEO.

“Each Academy member can participate in discussions, share their thoughts, and build relationships internationally that have the proven power to transform their firms’ growth rates, profitability, and value,” Herbers explained in a statement.

The new app is being marketed with a subscription fee and can be used on phones, laptops and desktop computers. Its programs focus on business planning, client experience, digital innovation, operations, employee management, technology, sales and marketing.

In addition, subscribing advisors can attend live biweekly training events, Q&A sessions and recordings of earlier sessions, and can submit questions to Herbers & Co.’s senior consulting team — which has worked with more than 1,000 firms to date, including hybrid RIAs, wealth management entities and multi-family offices.

More than 10% of Herbers & Co.’s clients work overseas, in countries like the United Kingdom, Australia and India. (The consulting firm is based in Austin, Texas.)

“To stay ahead, independent advisors must systematize, capture, and implement groundbreaking innovative ideas in how to serve clients digitally, efficiently, and profitably,” added Herbers, who is a regular ThinkAdvisor blogger and columnist for Investment Advisor magazine.

“The Academy at Herbers & Company is an essential part of our mission to remain at the forefront of modernizing client service and human capital programs, which is a sizable portion of how independent advisory firms are winning in today’s marketplace.”
