The NAIFA New York chapter and LICONY will look for ways to work together on legislative and regulatory priorities, and team up on communications and grassroots advocacy efforts, according to Corey Mathews, executive director of NAIFA-New York.

NAIFA says it’s had a chapter in operation in New York state since 1919.

LICONY is an organization that represents about 81 companies that provide life, disability income, long-term care insurance and annuity benefits in New York state.
