Laurence Fishburne Is About to Say 'Life Insurance.' On TV.
The guy who played Morpheus in 'The Matrix' is going to introduce a show on the topic for public television stations.
Public television stations around the United States may soon have a gift for anyone involved with life insurance: a public affairs show that will feature the actor Laurence Fishburne saying the word “life insurance.”
Fishburne is known to serious film connoisseurs as Mr. Clean in “Apocalypse Now,” and as Dr. Ellis Cheever in “Contagion” — the 2011 pandemic film that got everything right about COVID-19 except for what a properly socially distanced line at an airport would look like.
Fishburne is known to people who have breathing problems as they wait in line for blockbuster movies to start as Morpheus, the opposition leader in “The Matrix.” In the Marvel movie universe role, he’s Dr. Bill Foster, a character who hangs out with Ant-Man.

A production team in Boca Raton, Florida, is now working on a segment in “In Depth,” a public affairs television series that offers shows on a wide range of topics, including college endowments, global health care and peace initiatives.
Fishburne acts as the host for the series, and he provides an introduction for each episode.
The In Depth team offers the series to local public television stations. Each station can decide whether or not to air the series.
The In Depth team announced that it’s working on the life insurance episode, but it hasn’t yet released a list of sponsors or interviewees.
The In Depth team says the life insurance segment will “examine the importance of life insurance with industry experts.”
