Global Atlantic is writing the policy through its Accordia Life and Annuity Company subsidiary, which is based in Des Moines, Iowa.

Purchasers can pay an extra charge to get a chance to accumulate more policy value.

A Wellness for Life rider provides cost-of-insurance discounts for insureds who visit the doctor at least once every other year and keep their weight within a specified range.
